Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

When she was in the middle in high school Sasha was a transsexual and came out to the world as such. Sasha had to face some tough times but knew his family would be there for him and that music could aid. Jim and Sasha both are songwriters. They have been performing at local venues along with open mics and in other places. Even though The Voice coaches did not discuss Sasha's backstory, he as well as Jim discussed their journey to where they are today in an introductory clip played prior to their performance. Jim and Sasha spoke about the genre of music they enjoy and how Sasha took up guitar first at six. It was the fact that his father was a music instructor made it easier for him to master the art. Sasha was a woman-born youngster, was having a hard time figuring out his identity. In an Instagram post Sasha spoke out about his struggles. Jim however, was stricken with emotion when revealed his inability to stay present through these difficult times. Sasha Allen is a contestant on The Voice. She was born a girl. Sasha Allen turns 19 in 2021. Sasha began his journey as the first male freshman in high school. Sasha stated in Instagram the fact that he is only the third trans person who had ever been featured on the show. Sasha said that he was honored and proud to represent the entire trans community.
